Our Approach to Teaching

SMALL GROUPS WITH TWO TEACHERS FOR MAXIMUM SUPPORT

 

 

All of our classes are team taught with 2 teachers for small groups of a maximum of 12-14 participants  in order to maximise individual attention for students.  Our teaching focus during class is on ensuring correct alignment in asanas through step-by-step demonstrations,  hands-on adjustments and modifying asanas based on individual need so that regardless of physical condition and experience you are able to gain the most from your practice.  

 

HOLISTIC APPROACH, INTEGRATING BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT

 

 

Our approach to yoga is strongly influenced by classical Hatha Yoga.  Based on traditional vedantic, tantric and yogic teachings in conjunction with contemporary science of physical and mental well being, we combine an integrated approach to personal and spiritual development with health.

 

 

PERSONALISED PROGRAMMES TAILORED TO MEET INDIVIDUAL NEEDS

 

 

Based on the science of Yoga Therapy, personalised yoga programmes can be designed for private individuals to assist in managing a number of different health conditions including back problems, stress, digestive disorders, breathing related conditions such as asthma and any existing injuries.
