From 2002 until 2010 I had a lumbago on average every 3 months. "I've been suffering from panic attacks on and off for about 4 years. Then the stress of moving to Munich from England in spring 2010 made them a lot worse, so I started looking around for things that might help me manage them. A friend recommended yoga, so I searched for an English speaking yoga class, leading me to Anna and Juergen's 4 week Beginners Workshop. Anna and Juergen were both really patient with us in that first workshop, and having two teachers means one can be demonstrating all the asanas while the other comes round and makes sure everyone is ok. Although I am also on medication and visit a therapist for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I have no doubt that my yoga practice has played a huge part in my recovery from anxiety. And it gives me great confidence and hope to know that when I come off the medication and finish my therapy, I will still always have my yoga breathing in my back pocket, just in case!"
