WHAT IS A YOGA RETREAT?
A Yoga Retreat is exacty as the name implies - it is a time away from home which provides us with an opportunity to 'retreat' from our daily lives and routines. Taking this time out and a change of environment is important as it allows us to see things from a different perspective, giving space for us to rest, reset and rejuvenate through a deepening of our yoga practice.
Our Yoga Retreats are NOT designed to be 'silent retreats'. Whilst taking time for yourself is an integral part of this time away, at the heart of our practice and teaching is the journey of living consciously to connect with our bodies, minds and emotions and at the same time, to consciously connect with nature, the people and the world around us.
When we begin to share in experiences, to share in laughter and to share in community, we find a deeper value in Yoga Retreats.
