Developing and maintaining a healthy back
This workshop focuses on building strength in the back and the abdominal muscles, both of which are essential components of the muscular network of the spine and help the body to maintain proper posture and movement. It will also introduce a series of gentle back bending asanas to help you increase the flexibility of the spine, while at the same energizing, refreshing and invigorating the body through the opening of the chest and stimulation of the heart chakra. The workshop will include the practice of Pranayama (working with the breath) and meditation practice.
