Releasing physical and mental tension through the hips
The hips are our center - our support, where the upper part of our body meets our lower part, and where we habitually accumulate and store physical and emotional stress. Long hours of sitting at a desk all day cause our hip flexors to shorten and shrink-- limiting our ability to extend and causing stress to the pelvic areas, lower back and knees. In this workshop , we will be working to help you to create space and flexibility in your hips, working through a variety of postures which to both increase flexibliity and stabity around the hip region, which can in turn help to alleviate lower back pain and relieve tension from the knee joints. At the same time, by working on this the hip area, we will be working to release the mental and emotional stress that is stored in the pelvic region.
The workshop will include the practice of Pranayama (working with the breath) and meditation.
COST: 45 Euros
PLEASE NOTE: Due to current hygiene regulations, you are required to bring your own Yoga mat for practice
